REMARKS
The banded coral shrimp is one of the best known cleaner shrimp species.
They clean parasites and excess mucus off fish. Their long antenna and red and white bodies are quite distinctive.
Usually found in pairs, the male is normally smaller than the female. When reproductively active, the female has aqua blue coloured ovaries inside her abdomen.
