REMARKS

As it's name suggests the flatback turtle has a distinctive low-domed carapace that is upturned at the edges.
|
Flatbacks are the only species of sea turtle that is endemic to Australia.
|
They are found in shallow coastal waters where they feed on a variety of crustaceans, molluscs, jellyfish and algae.
